Notice of Intent Sole Source

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is providing notice of its intent to award a sole source contract to Kardex Remstar, LLC, for the service and maintenance of 4 Kardex Remstar shuttles for the SFLC ICP Warehouse. The requirement includes the maintenance and repair of brand name Kardex shuttle system hardware and software components. The USCG believes Kardex Remstar, LLC is the sole source capable of fulfilling this requirement due to their proprietary rights to the software and parts. • The contract will be a firm-fixed-price purchase order. • The estimated total value of the contract is less than $35,000. • Interested parties can submit capability statements, but the determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. • The USCG will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice.
