Iannelli Construction Co., Inc. is actively soliciting bids from certified Small Businesses (SBs), Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs), HUBZone Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDBs), and Women-Owned Small Businesses (WOSBs) for the construction of a new 16,632-square-foot Child Development Center with 16,667 square feet of adjacent outdoor play areas for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. The project includes construction of all required program spaces, including kitchen facilities, building information systems, fire protection and fire alarm systems, an Intrusion Detection System (IDS), and connection to the Energy Monitoring Control System (EMCS). Outdoor play areas will feature age-appropriate safety surfacing and fencing. Supporting site work includes utility connections, site lighting, paving, parking, sidewalks, curbs and gutters, storm drainage, Low Impact Development (LID) features, landscaping, and signage. The project also includes installation of information technology systems, video surveillance, alarm and intercom systems, and a self-contained heating and air conditioning system. Construction will comply with Department of Defense (DoD) Minimum Antiterrorism Standards for Buildings and will provide accessibility for individuals with disabilities. Cybersecurity requirements and sustainability/energy efficiency measures will also be incorporated into the project.
