Description
The Texas Military Department (TMD) is seeking competitive sealed proposals for Camp Swift Bldg. 232 Foundation Repairs located at 1705 Hwy 95 North, Bastrop, Texas 78602. The project includes the execution of construction services to provide a structurally sound repair of the existing barracks foundation, load-bearing walls, and roof assembly that is watertight. The scope of work also includes rough and fine grading within a five-foot perimeter of the building for positive drainage away from the building, and Bermuda sod shall be placed at all disturbed soils and maintained until established to prevent erosion.
• The estimated construction budget for the services is $1,300,000.00 for the base and options.
• The contract term is approximately 1 year, with the project completion date estimated to be September 2027.
• The TMD will issue a Notice to Proceed within 90 days of the contract award, stating the date(s) for beginning work and achieving substantial completion of the work.
• The successful respondent will be required to provide a performance period in calendar days, and the contract period will be the number of days issued by the TMD in the Notice to Proceed.
• The TMD reserves the right to award all, none, or any sequence of options contingent upon the availability of funds.
