Request for Bids Ballistic Shields

The City of Rancho Cucamonga is seeking bids for Ballistic Shields. The shields must meet the current National Institute of Justice Standards and be tested for various rounds. Vendors must provide a completed specifications worksheet, addendum acknowledgement, standard terms and conditions exceptions summary, participation clause, debarment and suspension certification form, and signature of authority. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality. • The shields must be Level III Ballistic Shields • The shields must be black in color • The shields must be 20x30 in size • The shields must be made of hybrid composite material • The shields must have a silhouette shape design • The shields must weigh 20 lbs. • The shields must have a weapon mount system • The shields must have two shooting platforms • The shields must have a stationary handle with forearm strap • The shields must have a front LED light strip • The shields must have a 3x9 view port reinforced on all edges • The shields must have a recessed viewport to provide additional protection against abrasive contact
