Description
The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking qualified vendors to enter into an agency‑specific term contract to supply and deliver various aggregate materials (limestone‑based and granite) to the Bladen County Maintenance facility on an as‑needed basis. The contract will initially run for one year with the possibility of extensions, and vendors must be registered in the state’s Electronic Vendor Portal (eVP). Bids are submitted electronically, and the award will be based on the lowest responsive price that meets specifications.
• Contract type: Agency‑specific term (one‑year initial term)
• Materials: 18,000 tons limestone‑based aggregate and 2,000 tons granite (or equivalents)
• Delivery: FOB destination to 5749 US 701 North, Elizabethtown, NC 28337, within 20 calendar days of order receipt

• Pre‑bid question deadline: 12:30 PM, 8 Sept 2026
• Mandatory vendor registration in NC eVP; insurance required for contracts up to $1 M
• Evaluation based on price, compliance with NCDOT specifications, and vendor qualifications
• No minimum purchase quantity; NCDOT may order any amount up to the estimated annual totals.
