Description
The Office of State Fire Marshal is seeking to procure a mobile breathing air compressor trailer to supply fresh, compressed air to firefighters during training operations at the NC Emergency Training Center. The trailer will provide respiratory safety when working in hazardous environments and allow firefighters to refill air and scuba tanks on site, reducing downtime in training and emergency situations. The mobile air supply trailer will also provide versatility in operations and will be available for SERT deployments. Key features of the trailer include a 25 CFM BAUER diesel driven compressor unit, a BAUER CFS 5.5 with 4 bank Air Control Panel, and 3 Diamond Door/Dover roll up doors for ventilation.
Some of the key requirements for the trailer include:
• 7 x 12' enclosed trailer with 2 rooms, Dual Torsion Axles, Extended tongue, 2 5/16" coupler, White finished interior walls, and 24” x 70” Side Door
• 25 CFM BAUER diesel driven compressor unit with P5 Securus purifier and CO monitor located in rear room, 6000 PSI, Interstage gauges
• BAUER CFS 5.5 (2 fill Containment Ports) with 4 bank Air Control Panel located in front room
• 3 Diamond Door/Dover roll up doors for ventilation
• 4 exterior scene lights
Options for the trailer include an electrical package, hose reel, awning package, and SCBA bottle rack.
