2025 MANHOLE LINING REHAB

The City of Aurora Water Department is seeking bids from qualified contractors for a manhole lining rehab project. The work of this project consists of the rehabilitation of sixty-four (64) manholes to address defects and perform necessary lining replacement or structural repairs based on recent inspection and risk evaluation. The project includes rehabilitation of the bench and inverts of manholes as well as replacing the cover, frame, and frame seal. Rehabilitation methods will require excavation surrounding the manhole to defect depths, replacement and repair of identified defects, and surface repair. One manhole requires a full replacement. • Work includes necessary bypass pumping, erosion control, and traffic control for all repairs. • The estimated cost for this project is from $1,100,000.00 to $1,450,000.00. • The Contract Documents require that all work be Substantially Complete by March 27, 2026, with Final Completion by April 24, 2026. • Failure to complete the work as prescribed shall be considered as a Breach of Contract and subject to Liquidated Damages which are $2,700.00 per day.
