Description
The City of Whitesburg is seeking qualifications and proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide pre- and post-award engineering services for state and federally funded projects related to water infrastructure and community and economic development. The selected firm will be responsible for preliminary report, design, and construction administration services of projects using state and/or federal funds.
• The firm should have experience with state/federal funded projects, including CDBG
• The firm should have knowledge of the community
• The firm should have experience with similar projects
• The firm should have a proposed project management structure and ability to meet deadlines for deliverables
• The firm should have professional liability (errors and omissions) insurance
The City anticipates pursuing federal and/or state funding for community development, infrastructure, and related needs. Immediate plans call for services to assist the City with the Preliminary Engineering Report, Design Services, and Construction Administration Services for a CDBG project related to public water infrastructure improvements for the 2026 CDBG cycle due in April.
