Description
The Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) is seeking a firm fixed price proposal for a Laser Powder Directed Energy Deposition System. The system should allow for small-scale processing of high-temperature materials in an inert environment and conform to space and weight requirements listed in the Statement of Work. The proposal should include a breakdown of the firm fixed price, delivery and installation schedule, installation cost breakdown, training cost breakdown, and any included software details.
• The system should allow for multi-material delivery control as a function of layer height/number.
• The system should require small amounts of metal powder to build specimens.
• The system should conform to space and weight requirements listed in the Statement of Work.
• The proposal should clearly indicate the country of origin for all materials.
• The proposal should include a pricing worksheet and documentation supporting UT-Battelle's quoted pricing as fair and reasonable.
