26-028 Government Street, I Street, and Barrancas Avenue Intersection Improvements Project

The City of Pensacola is seeking bids to improve the Government Street, I Street, and Barrancas Avenue intersection. The scope includes upgrading pedestrian infrastructure, traffic control devices, and lighting to meet ADA and FDOT standards. Work must be completed within 180 days from the notice to proceed. • Install ADA-compliant ramps, new sidewalks, and marked crosswalks to enhance pedestrian safety. • Provide new pedestrian signals, traffic signal mast arms, and upgraded traffic signal timing for better vehicle flow. • Install street lighting and related electrical work, following city‑specified photometric requirements. • Perform associated civil works such as earthwork, grading, and drainage improvements as shown in the plans. • Ensure all construction complies with City of Pensacola and Florida Department of Transportation specifications.
