7140 City Hall Plaza Phase 1 & 2

The City of Boston's Public Facilities Department (PFD) is seeking statements of qualifications (SOQ) for the City Hall Plaza Renovation Phase 1 & 2 project. The project has a construction estimate of $27,500,000.00 and includes improvements to the South Plaza, Congress St stairs, and lower-level MEP spaces and garage. The RFQ is the first part of a two-step process, and only general contractors who are prequalified in Phase I will be permitted to submit bids in Phase II. • The scope of work includes surface, structural, waterproofing, lighting, and other improvements. • The project is anticipated to start in Summer 2026 and is expected to last for approximately 600 days. • SOQs must be received via the online portal or submitted in person at the PFD Bid Counter by April 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM (EST).
