Description
The State of Oregon is issuing an informal Request for Information (RFI) to collect industry feedback on parks and recreation equipment and associated installation services. The RFI seeks input on equipment categories, top‑selling items, pricing approaches, installation scope, safety and accessibility standards, sustainability considerations, and potential improvements to the procurement process. No contract award or payment will result from this RFI; responses become part of the public record and may inform future solicitations.
• Scope covers a broad set of park‑playground equipment (playground equipment, recycled equipment, safety surfaces, seesaws, slides, etc.) and the installation of such equipment.
• Respondents are asked to provide market data, product line details, recommended specifications, and insights on tariffs, certifications, and post‑installation services.
• All responses are due by the same day as the bid opening (Oct 29 2026, 4 PM PT) and must be submitted via email or the OregonBuys portal.
