Description
The City of Mobile, in coordination with ALDOT, is seeking bids for the design‑build construction of new curb ramps and the repair, replacement, and installation of sidewalks throughout downtown Mobile. This public works project must satisfy 2018 ALDOT Standard Specifications, include prevailing‑wage compliance, and require the contractor to hold an Alabama General Contractor license with a Municipal & Utility or Highways & Streets major classification. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre‑bid conference, submit sealed bids with required bonds, and meet all insurance and bonding criteria. The contract will be awarded after public opening of bids on September 30, 2026.
