The contract calls for a comprehensive demolition and concrete construction effort at the Flood Protection Authority – East Warehouse (6920 Franklin Ave., New Orleans, LA). The work includes removing existing concrete slabs, installing new curb and rollover curb, constructing a sump pit and trench drain, installing manhole covers and frames, applying polymer sealants to horizontal surfaces, joint sealant to vertical surfaces, and painting the concrete. All demolition debris must be removed from the site, becoming the contractor’s property, and the contractor is responsible for design, fabrication, shipping, taxes, labor, materials, equipment, and any incidental work. • Remove existing concrete slab and dispose of debris. • Install new concrete curb, rollover curb, sump pit, trench drain, and manhole assemblies. • Apply polymer sealant, joint sealant, and paint to all concrete surfaces.
