Description
The Georgia Department of Transportation is seeking a pre-qualified firm to provide demolition and removal services for various structures and improvements in the right of way or easement areas. The scope of work includes demolition of improvements, structures, or other encumbrances, and removal of demolition debris. The contract will be for a period of 30 days, and the contractor must begin work as soon as possible after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The contractor must also provide a bid price for each parcel, and the bid price must include all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals required for completion of the demolition project.
• The contractor must be pre-qualified in the Right of Way Property Management service class.
• The contractor must provide a bid price for each parcel.
• The contractor must begin work as soon as possible after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
• The contractor must complete all work within 30 days of the Notice to Proceed.
• The contractor must provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid price.
• The contractor must maintain liability insurance with a minimum limit of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 aggregate.
