Demolition and Removal of State Owned Property Missoula Area

The Montana Department of Transportation is seeking bids for the demolition and removal of state-owned property located at 1116, 1118, 1120A, 1120B, and 1122 Russell Street in Missoula. The work includes the removal of a 148 ft long x 30 ft wide commercial building, a parking lot, and debris. The successful contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the demolition and removal of the structures. The contractor must also obtain a NESHAP Notification Permit and comply with all applicable codes and regulations. • The property to be demolished is a strip mall with a parking area. • The building contains five individual suites and was constructed in 1983. • The building has a wood frame/joist/beam structure and a membrane roof. • The parking lot is 8,700 SF and covered with 4” asphalt paving. • The contractor must remove all combustible material from the site and dispose of all solid waste, trash, and rubbish in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. • The contractor must also backfill and level the ground, add topsoil, and hydroseed the area by 10/31/2026.
