On-Call Traffic Signal Poles Replacement

The City of Richmond is seeking a qualified traffic signal contractor to provide on-call services for replacing traffic signal poles identified as being in failing or poor condition. The contractor will be responsible for installing traffic signal pole foundations, mast arms, and other related work. The contract will be a unit price type contract, and the contractor will be required to submit a pricing proposal for various tasks. The contract term will be 2 years, with up to 2 renewal options. • The contractor must have experience with similar projects and must provide references and key personnel information. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including prevailing wage requirements. • The contractor must provide a bid bond and performance bond, and must agree to liquidated damages for delay in completion of the work. • The contractor must submit a pricing proposal, including unit prices for various tasks, and must agree to perform extra work as requested by the Owner.
