Budget estimate

$500,000 – $650,000

The Engineer’s estimate for the project is $585,000, which typically reflects the anticipated contract award amount for a public‑works street‑lighting replacement. Assuming standard profit margins (5‑10 %) and possible change‑order contingencies, the contractor could expect a net budget in the range of roughly $500,000 to $650,000. Factors influencing the final amount include material cost fluctuations (metal pole prices, LED fixture costs), labor rates, and any additional site‑specific work uncovered during construction.
