BID NOTICE: 2026 TRAFFIC SIGNAL PAINTING PROJECT #4978

The City of Minot is seeking a qualified vendor to sandblast and paint traffic signal poles, mast arms, and luminaire arms at multiple locations in Minot, ND. The project includes four intersections: N Broadway and 20th Ave NW, N Broadway and 11th Ave NW, N Broadway and University Ave, and N Broadway and 4th Ave NW. The contractor will be responsible for all traffic control during the painting process and must follow the MUTCD temporary traffic control specification. The city reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to award the contract as it deems necessary and in the best interest of the City of Minot. • The project requires the contractor to sandblast and paint traffic signal standards at multiple locations. • The contractor must provide an electronic PDF file of shop drawings and certifications required by the City of Minot within 15 days after the RFP is awarded. • The contractor must warranty/guarantee all materials, work, and equipment for a period of at least five years from the date of final acceptance. • The city will modify the traffic signal standards prior to the contractor painting the signal standards. • The contractor must follow the city's specifications for painting, including the use of specific paint materials and application methods.
