Description
The Town of Chapel Hill is seeking a qualified construction contractor to replace the roof at the Chapel Hill Transit Campus. The project includes the replacement of the metal deck, wood blocking, plywood, thermal barrier, and extruded polystyrene. The contractor will be required to commence work immediately upon receipt of Notice to Proceed and to pursue the work with an adequate work force to complete the work within 90 days from Notice to Proceed to substantial completion.
• The project requires a mandatory pre-bid conference on February 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM EST.
• The contractor must have proper licenses under the State laws governing their respective trade(s).
• The contractor must provide performance and payment bonds issued in accordance with Article 3 of Chapter 44A of the General Statutes.
• The contractor must procure and maintain insurance provisions as outlined in Article 33 of the General Conditions of the Contract for Construction.
