Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide maintenance, repair, and installation services for automatic doors at the DC VAMC. The contractor will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance inspections, repairing or replacing doors, and providing emergency labor services. The contract period is for 12 months, with options to extend for up to 4 years. The contractor must provide a schedule for quarterly inspections and repairs, and ensure that all doors are compliant with industry standards and safety parameters. Key services include:
• Preventative maintenance inspections of all automatic doors campus-wide
• Repair or replacement of doors, including components and complete operators
• New installations of doors
• Emergency labor services for after-hours and weekend work
• Quarterly inspections and repairs to ensure doors are functioning properly and safely
