Description
The City of Danville is seeking qualified vendors to supply a complete substation package for the Swedwood Substation. The scope includes delivery of structural steel, bus, connectors, hardware, three‑pole air‑break switches, surge arresters, single‑pole disconnect switches, meters, relays, and instrument transformers. All items must be delivered DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) to the substation site, with the vendor responsible for freight, insurance, and on‑site unloading. The contract will be awarded based on best value, considering price, delivery schedule, proximity of manufacturing, and experience with similar substation packages in the southeastern U.S. Vendors must submit a detailed bill of materials, catalog numbers, manufacturer data, and an outline drawing of the package dimensions and weight. A 5 % bid bond is required.
