The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is seeking a qualified, licensed tree‑care contractor to perform on‑call roadside tree trimming, removal, pruning, and related services on state highways and interstates within Howard County. Work will be assigned on an as‑needed basis via unit‑day orders, each representing a fully equipped crew working up to eight hours. The contract is a fixed‑price, six‑month award (or until funds are exhausted) and is limited to certified small‑business vendors. Bidders must submit a price‑per‑unit‑day, provide required certifications, references, and insurance, and will be evaluated solely on lowest total price.
