INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: Acquisition of One (1) Thermogravimetric Analyzer (TGA) with Additional Specifications

The Army Research Laboratory (ARL) is seeking to acquire one thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) with additional specifications for research purposes. The procurement is being conducted as a sole source acquisition, with the intention of awarding a contract to TA Instruments – Waters LLC. The TGA will be used at the ARL Biolab in Adelphi, Maryland. • The TGA must meet specific requirements, including the ability to perform thermal analysis and rheology tests. • The contract will include the provision of a loyalty support plan and installation and training services. • The delivery of the TGA is required within three months of contract award. • The contract will be a firm fixed price contract, with payment terms of net 30 and 100% payment upon final inspection and acceptance.
