Description
The Department of Transportation & Public Facilities, State Equipment Fleet, is soliciting proposals for a Stakebed Truck with Liftgate. The truck will be used in Fairbanks, Alaska, and must meet specific requirements, including being built for all weather conditions and meeting FMVSS standards. The proposal must include a cost proposal, technical proposal, and other required information. The evaluation criteria include understanding of the project, management plan, experience and qualifications, and contract cost.
• The Stakebed Truck with Liftgate must be less than 26,000 GVWR, 4x2, with no CDL required.
• The truck must have a regular cab chassis, automatic transmission, diesel engine, and an 18-20 foot steel flatbed with 4-foot lightweight gates.
• The contractor must provide a 3,000-pound lift gate and two underbed storage compartments.
• The contract term is a one-time purchase, with delivery required within 90 days.
• The state reserves the right to reject any proposal that does not comply with the terms and conditions of the RFP.
