Description
The East Orange Campus of the VA New Jersey Health Care System is seeking to purchase an Amsco Evolution Medium Prevacuum Steam Sterilizer, with parts and accessories. The contractor shall deliver the sterilizer, install and integrate it into existing utilities and infrastructure, perform functional testing and commissioning, remove and dispose of the existing sterilizer, and provide operator orientation and installation documentation. The replacement sterilizer shall meet or exceed certain requirements, including prevacuum steam sterilization capability, chamber capacity, consistent vacuum performance, and durable stainless-steel pressure vessel construction.
• The contractor shall coordinate delivery with VA Logistics and provide qualified installation and testing personnel.
• The contractor shall maintain site protection, safety, and infection control compliance.
• The contractor shall provide warranties, validation reports, and operator orientation documentation.
• The Government shall provide site access and confirm utility readiness, decontaminate the existing sterilizer prior to removal, and review and approve contractor documentation.
