Description
The State of South Carolina (SCDOT) is seeking a single vendor to provide rental, delivery, installation, maintenance, and rapid‑replacement services for eight (8) asphalt “hot‑box” units to be used at eight District 2 maintenance sites. The contract is a five‑year fixed‑price rental agreement (one‑year base period with up‑to‑four one‑year renewal options). The vendor must deliver each unit within 15 days of order receipt, provide a replacement unit within 48 hours of a failure, and handle pickup at contract close. SCDOT will supply fuel and insurance; the vendor must meet equipment specifications (2021 model year or newer) and maintain all units in operational condition.
