Description
The National Park Service, via the Colorado Department of Transportation, is seeking a qualified contractor to remove existing roadside hazards and install modern, crash‑tested guardrail systems along twelve locations of South Rim Drive in Rocky Mountain National Park. The work includes selective boulder removal, site grading, procurement and installation of weathered‑look steel guardrails with specialized coatings, and comprehensive traffic control. An 8‑week lead time for the custom guardrail material is built into the schedule, with construction slated for early April through late May 2027.
