FY26 Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, Texas Placement Area No. 102C and 108 Improvements in Brazoria and Matagorda Counties, Texas

The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Galveston District is seeking information from industry for the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, Texas Placement Area No. 102C and 108 Improvements project. The project includes a three-foot dike raise, inlet structure repairs, and shoreline protection on the northeast corner and southeast corner of the placement area. The estimated construction cost is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Interested firms are invited to provide information on their capabilities, experience, and qualifications to perform the work. The information provided will be used for preliminary planning purposes and to determine the availability of responsible firms. Some key aspects of the project include: • A three-foot dike raise • Inlet structure repairs • Shoreline protection on the northeast corner and southeast corner of the placement area • Clearing and grubbing, geotechnical investigations, and topographic surveys • Compliance with the USACE Safety and Health Requirements Manual, EM 385-1-1, and all Federal, State, and local laws, ordinances, codes, and/or regulations • Performance and Payment Bonds are required within Five (5) calendar days after award of the Contract • The contractor shall begin work within Ten (10) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued
