Eaton Uninterruptable Power Supply Units Maintenance

The United States Naval Observatory (USNO) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide maintenance services for four Eaton Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) units that provide backup power to the USNO. The contractor will be required to provide regular preventive maintenance, rapid break/fix response, and replacement of batteries and capacitors as needed. The contract will be for a period of 12 months with four option periods. • The UPS units are critical to the operation of the USNO's Master Clock and other systems. • The contractor must be an authorized reseller/distributor of Eaton Corporation. • The contract will be a firm-fixed-price purchase order. • The contractor must provide an hourly rate for emergency call services and a price for replacement parts. • The contractor must have the ability to obtain parts and understand market costs.
