Project Name: CUNY Macaulay Honors College Basement, Cellar and Restroom Renovation (PLA/Union) Owner: Dormitory Authority – State of New York (“DASNY”) Architect/Engineer: Ikon.5 Architects Project Description: This project is a full interior renovation to the cellar and basement levels of this existing (5) story building built in 1904 for The Macaulay Honors College. The renovation includes replacement of interior walls, doors, and associated finishes and full replacement of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on these floors. New mechanical system includes a new cellar ERV unit and new roof mounted AC units on a new elevated steel platform. The project also includes the full renovation of (4) multiuser restrooms and 4 single user restrooms throughout the building. Restroom renovation includes the replacement of all fixtures and finishes. Project Labor Agreement: The successful low bidder, as condition of being awarded this Contract, will be required to execute the PLA. All subcontractors of every tier will be required to agree to be bound by the PLA.
