Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Essentials for Improved Outcomes

The Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Essentials for Improved Outcomes will fund an organization to help states, territories, and CSBG-eligible entities strengthen their understanding of CSBG statutory and regulatory requirements, enhance their implementation of critical program elements, and support the coordination and development of additional anti-poverty resources. The award recipient will provide technical assistance and training to the CSBG network. Key areas of focus include community needs assessment, tripartite board, monitoring and reporting compliance, and coordination with other anti-poverty programs. • The CSBG network includes OCS, states, territories, directly-funded tribes and tribal organizations, eligible entities, state associations, and CSBG national TTA providers. • The award recipient will be expected to provide TTA that enhances the CSBG network's ability to increase knowledge and understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements, implement critical program elements, and coordinate anti-poverty resources. • The award recipient will be responsible for ensuring that data and copyright-protected works developed by a subrecipient are subject to the federal government's copyright license and data rights.
