Technology Insertion for Acoustic Rapid Action Commercial Off-the Shelf (COTS) Insertion (A-RCI) IDIQ-MAC

The Department of the Navy is conducting market research to gauge interest in companies to be part of the Technology Insertion for Acoustic Rapid Action Commercial Off-the Shelf (COTS) Insertion (A-RCI) IDIQ-MAC marketplace. The A-RCI program supports the global superiority of the U.S Navy by delivering processing and display upgrades to the SONAR sensors of all submarine classes. The TI A-RCI IDIQ-MAC will have five Functional Areas: Cabinet Design and Production, Sensor Processing Software, Fleet Support, Certification Support Lab, and Logistics Support. • The Cabinet Design and Production area involves designing and producing cabinets that provide the hardware and power infrastructure for the software to be run and the system to be controlled. • The Sensor Processing Software area involves developing software for acoustic and non-acoustic sensors, including sensor interface, signal conditioning, beamforming, and detection and tracking capabilities. • The Fleet Support area involves coordinating with all parties to support resolving issues from in-service platforms, installation issues, hardware repairs, and supply support. • The Certification Support Lab area involves providing space and resources to populate test bays and execute the final integration and certification testing prior to software and hardware delivery. • The Logistics Support area involves providing services required for optimal performance of the SONAR systems delivered and related components throughout the program lifecycle.
