Proposed Traffic Signal, Brady Street (IA 461 N) at 12th Street

The City of Davenport is accepting bids for the proposed traffic signal on Brady Street at the 12th street intersection. The proposed improvements include installing a new traffic signal at this intersection. The project is expected to be completed by July 1, 2026. The contractor will be responsible for installing the traffic signal, removing and replacing signs, and maintaining traffic control during the construction process. The city reserves the right to modify the existing installations by providing detailed plans to the contractor. • The contractor shall provide 72-hour advance notice of all lane restrictions, street closures, and detours. • The contractor shall establish and maintain appropriate traffic control in accordance with SUDAS Section 8030. • The contractor shall be responsible for monitoring site conditions and using equipment, means, and methods that will minimize damage to streets and surrounding property. • The contractor shall protect any appurtenances not scheduled to be removed and its appurtenances from damage at all times and shall repair any damaged pavement at the contractor's expense.
