The work encompasses roughly 2 miles of roadway, requiring demolition, concrete, asphalt, striping, and utility coordination. • Demolition of existing striping, sidewalks, curbs, and channelizers. • Installation of new hot‑mix asphalt, concrete median, sidewalks, and bike‑lane markings per Caltrans standards. • Utility verification, protection, potholing and relocation; 48‑hour 811 excavation notice required. • Contractor must hold a California Class A or Class C‑8 license, provide 10 % bid guarantee, and furnish 100 % performance and payment bonds.
