Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) for Outsourcing Work from Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Availabilities on all Submarines

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is conducting market research to determine industry capability and interest in performing discrete production, non-discrete production, and other production work to support the Navy's four public shipyards in accomplishing repair, maintenance, and modernization of nuclear-powered submarines. The work will be performed under a Multiple Award Contract (MAC) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The contract will have two tiers: Critical (Lot 1) and Non-Critical (Lot 2). The Critical tier will require contractors to possess capability and capacity to complete multiple concurrent complex critical systems work, while the Non-Critical tier will require fewer specialized contractor capabilities. • The contract will include work such as preservation, structural/non-destructive testing, shipboard work, electrical services, component repair, and engineering and technical support. • The contract will be competed amongst MAC IDIQ awardees over a four-year base period with an additional three option years. • The Navy is seeking responses from companies that can perform dry dock submarine repair, maintenance, and alterations at various locations. • The contract will require contractors to have the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to complete multiple concurrent critical complex Depot level Availabilities.
