ZDV CTRB Raised Floor

The project involves providing a new 18” high raised access floor system and SRG in the Control Wing Basement at ZDV. The scope of work includes installing two new ADA compliant ramps and stairs, constructing a new 9’-6” partition, removing the existing nonconforming east door, and providing a new door within a new 2-hour rated alcove. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete the work. • The project requires asbestos removal, which should be included in the bid. • A supervisor with an FAA-issued PIV Card is required to be on site. • The use of the elevator near the West side of the project must be coordinated with the COR. • The specified product, Tate Concore 1250/FS200D, is preferred, but an approved equal may be used. • Tech Electronics of Colorado is the preferred fire alarm contractor. • Surface-mounted conduit is acceptable for raising outlets. • The raised floor system must be bonded using 4 AWG bare or 6 AWG green with orange tracer. • Only metallic elements below the raised floor need to be bonded. • New door hardware is required, and existing hardware should not be reused. • Wall damage near the door closer must be repaired. • Underfloor dividers are not required for this project. • The concentrated load rating for the raised access floor is 1,250 lbs.
