Description
The Northville Public Schools are seeking bids for asbestos abatement services prior to renovations at Moraine Elementary School. The project includes the removal and disposal of various asbestos-containing materials, such as thermal system insulation, flooring, and wall glue pods. The work is expected to be completed in April and June of 2026. Key aspects of the project include:
• Asbestos removal and disposal
• Removal of tagged fire doors and frames
• Removal of exterior transite overhang
• Basketball backboard removal with asbestos coating
• Compliance with MCL 380.1267 and MCL 129.313 regulations
