Parkland and Spanaway Wellness Project Rebid

The Pierce County Planning and Public Works department is seeking to fund a program or project that employs evidence-based solutions to improve the quality of life, health, and well-being of people who reside in or near the Parkland and Spanaway areas. The project must serve people who reside in or near the Parkland and Spanaway areas, employ evidence-based solutions, and focus on people, places, and policy to improve the quality of life, health, and well-being of the target population. The scope of work includes community assessment and engagement, program development, implementation, and reporting. The awarded contractor will be required to submit deliverables under the contract, including a detailed workplan, community assessment report, and quarterly progress reports. • Increase healthy life expectancy among residents • Improve community health and well-being indicators • Reduce preventable chronic disease rates • Strengthen social connections and sense of belonging • Create policy, system, and environmental changes that promote healthy living
