Playground Equipment

The Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) is seeking a qualified contractor to design, supply, deliver, install, and warranty a complete, commercial‑grade playground system that matches the district’s prototype design. The work includes equipment fabrication, engineered wood‑fiber surfacing, border/containment systems, ADA‑compliant ramp, site preparation, delivery, installation, and post‑installation warranties and maintenance documentation. The contract will be evaluated primarily on total price (50 pts) with additional points for technical approach, qualifications, and past performance. The award will be a multi‑year agreement (implicitly five years) with the potential for escalation as defined by the bidder. • Provide a full turn‑key playground solution (equipment, surfacing, borders, ramp, freight, installation). • Must meet ASTM F1487, ASTM F1292, ASTM F1951, CPSC and ADA standards; a Certified Playground Safety Inspector must oversee installation. • Contractor must carry $1 M general liability, $1 M auto, workers’ comp, and builders’ risk insurance; submit all required affidavits and certifications.
