J065--Vision Cart Utensil Washer

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8), intends to award a Sole Source contract to Steris Incorporated for the procurement of a Vision 1330L Cart and Utensil Washer Disinfector. The purpose of this requirement is to ensure the reliable cleaning and disinfection of case carts used throughout the SPS Bay Pines campus by restoring dependable operational capability to the Cart Washer. The Cart Washer is essential for safely and effectively removing biological contaminants from carts that transport soiled and potentially bloody Reusable Medical Devices (RMD). Key features of the required equipment include: • A stainless steel wash chamber and base • A removable debris screen • Treatment staging tanks with automatic solution level control and automatic hot water fill • A high-pressure pump with a stainless-steel construction • A control system with a touch-sensitive color graphic display and impact printer • Safety features such as safety door switches, obstruction sensors, and emergency stop pushbuttons • Utensils, containers, and instrument racks for proper placement within the washer • A 1-year preventive care plan and the option of ConnectAssure technology
