Description
The Naval Consolidated Brig Miramar Detachment Pearl Harbor requires the replacement of the facility's current industrial grade laundry equipment. The command is looking for large capacity models efficient in conserving water, energy, and time. The contractor shall provide three Unimac Softmount Washer-Extractor or equal and three Unimac Single Dryer or equal with Dual Digital Control, and perform the installation. The equipment must meet the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristic specified in the solicitation. The contractor shall also provide training to the staff and ensure that the equipment is installed and operating optimally. Key considerations include:
• Meeting the American Correction Association (ACA 5-ACI-5D-10) standards for industrial quality
• Compliance with the Secretary of the Navy Instruction (SECNAV M-1640.1) and relevant health authorities
• Providing large capacity models efficient in conserving water, energy, and time
