The Michigan Department of Transportation is seeking a prequalified maintenance contractor to add a left turn phasing to existing traffic signals on US-12 at Livernois Ave in Detroit. The work will require removing case signs and replacing them with traffic signals, removing and replacing sidewalk, installing pushbutton pedestals, and other miscellaneous work. The contractor must be prequalified in category L – Electrical Construction. • The RFP was posted on SIGMA VSS for 17 days. • The contract award will be to the lowest price bidder who receives a PASS rating. • The evaluation process is based on the bidder's ability to successfully perform the duties identified by the solicitation. • The proposal instructions and mandatory minimum requirements are stated in the RFP.
