Description

The City of Branson is seeking a qualified contractor to perform a combined streetscape improvement contract on West 76 Country Boulevard (Segments 1 & 2). The work integrates four separate project components—pedestrian facilities, ADA‑compliant ramp upgrades, Z‑crossing islands with “Hawk” traffic signals, and associated utility, drainage, pavement, and signage upgrades—into a single contract. Bidders must be on MoDOT’s Qualified Contractor List, provide a 5 % bid bond, and comply with prevailing‑wage and OSHA safety requirements. All plans and specifications are available electronically via the City’s DemandStar portal, and the bid must be submitted electronically by the deadline. • Scope includes sidewalk connectivity, ADA ramp upgrades, installation of Z‑crossing islands, “Hawk” traffic signals, utility adjustments, drainage improvements, pavement markings, and signage. • Single combined bid required; partial or separate bids will be considered non‑responsive. • Contractor must be MoDOT‑qualified, submit a 5 % bid bond, adhere to prevailing‑wage rates, and provide a 10‑hour OSHA safety program within 60 days of work commencement. • Pre‑bid conference (Teams) on 21 Aug 2026; bid submission deadline 14 Sept 2026 via DemandStar; bid opening immediately thereafter.

Budget estimate

$500,000 – $1,500,000

No contract value is disclosed, but based on similar municipal streetscape projects in mid‑size U.S. cities, a combined scope that includes sidewalk upgrades, ADA ramps, signalized Z‑crossings, utility relocations, and drainage work typically ranges from $0.5 million to $1.5 million. Factors influencing the range include length of the segment (~300 ft), the need for traffic signal hardware (“Hawk” signals), and the extent of utility adjustments.
