Department of Public Safety Oil Separator Replacement

The City of Mt. Pleasant is seeking bids for the replacement of the oil separator located in the Public Safety Building. The project includes removing and replacing the existing oil separator, terminating the existing oil separator, and preparing and installing a new concrete cap. The contractor will be responsible for ordering all supplies related to the installation, securing permits and inspections, and maintaining the site in a clean and organized manner. The project must be completed in accordance with the State Plumbing Code and local building codes. • The project requires a mandatory pre-bid meeting on November 18, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. • The contractor must provide a bid bond, bank cashier's check, or certified check for 5% of the bid price. • The city reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in the bids. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and bonds as specified in the contract documents. • The project must be completed within the specified timeframe, and the contractor will be responsible for any liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on time.
