Description
The City of Austin is seeking a contractor to provide reinforced concrete arch pipe, tongue and groove joint, and reinforced concrete pipe sloped/mitered end sections. The contract will support the Austin Watershed Protection Department's Field Operations Division during the installation of new projects or the replacement of worn pieces for drainage-related work. The contractor shall meet the requirements set forth in the City's Standard Specifications and Details, and provide proof of experience and certification. The contractor shall also provide a single point of contact and deliver products to a City-specified location within five business days of order notification.
Key responsibilities of the contractor include:
• Submitting literature with detailed technical specifications on the products priced in the Price Sheet
• Providing a certificate from an independent lab of compliance to all applicable ASTM standards
• Delivering product orders to a City-specified location within five business days of order notification
• Providing a material ticket with each order release of products that are delivered to the City
• Notifying the City in writing of any changes in delivery of products affected by backlog, strike, or any other reasonable event
