Virginia Zoo - Africa Boardwalk Repairs

The City of Norfolk is seeking a qualified contractor to repair the Africa Walkway at the Virginia Zoo. The scope includes demolition of deteriorated decking, installation of new composite decking (AZEK PVC decking), associated structural investigations, temporary facilities, site protection, waste management, and compliance with quality‑control and safety requirements. Work must be performed in phases, coordinated with zoo operations, and adhere to strict utility‑shutdown, noise, dust, and animal‑exhibit protection protocols.
