The Port Authority of Allegheny County (Pittsburgh Regional Transit) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a three‑year fastener supply service for ten of its facilities throughout the Pittsburgh region. The contractor must stock, manage inventory, and deliver a full catalog of U.S. standard and metric fasteners (bolts, nuts, washers, rivets, etc.) meeting SAE/ASTM/ISO/DIN specifications, with a five‑day delivery lead‑time after order receipt. The award will be based on the lowest responsive total price for the three‑year period; performance bonding (≥ 50 % of contract value) and required insurance are mandatory, and the vendor must submit monthly inventory reports and comply with periodic testing requirements.
• Supply, stock, and deliver a comprehensive range of fasteners to ten PRT locations, maintaining on‑site inventory checks (bi‑weekly/monthly).
• Meet strict material, finish, and traceability standards (grade‑8, stainless‑steel, zinc‑plated, etc.) and provide testing at the supplier’s cost (up to 20 tests per year).
• Provide required documentation: performance bond (if award > $100k), insurance certificates, monthly inventory reports, catalog delivery within seven days of notice, and a one‑year warranty with labor reimbursement.
