Description
The Puget Sound VA Medical Center is seeking a contractor to provide 7 vaccine refrigerators that meet specific salient characteristics, including the ability to maintain temperature between 2-8 degrees C for up to 6 days during power outages and store 220 boxes of 10-.5ml vials or 70 boxes of 10 single dose syringes. The refrigerators must also meet pharmaceutical grade criteria and have a warranty of at least 2 years and 5 years on the compressor.

• Dimensions of 38”x28”x35”, equivalent to 21 sq ft upright model
• Low power consumption
• Ability to protect medication for up to 6 days during power outages

• Must not require on call personnel or remote monitoring systems
• Must not produce temperature spikes or changes when door is open
• Scheduled maintenance not required
