NORTHERN AVENUE SEWER RELIEF

The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified consultant to provide engineering services for the Northern Avenue Sewer Relief project. The project involves a corridor and alignment study, design, and construction administration and inspection services for a relief sewer project. The selected firm will be responsible for conducting a sewer capacity analysis, determining and obtaining required easements and licenses, coordinating with the City of Phoenix Real Estate Division, and performing data collection and field survey. The firm will also be required to provide public information services, prepare design concept reports and construction drawings, and perform utility investigations and coordination. • The project is part of the Sanitary Sewer Relief Program, which aims to review and manage the capacity of Phoenix's wastewater collection system. • The estimated construction cost is $7.4 million. • The project involves replacement of approximately 2670 linear feet of existing 15-inch sanitary sewer and 1830 linear feet of existing 12-inch sewer. • The selected firm will be required to maintain all project records in electronic format and utilize the City's web-based project management database.
